The Aussie popstar has concentrated on the dance genre in recent years, but is now said to be planning a new approach after teaming up with The Freemasons, who have worked with her sister Kylie in the past.
"Dannii can sing, which is the paramount thing with us," Freemasons star Russell Small told The Daily Telegraph. "It's great to be able to do two sisters. It's something a little different for her, I think, because she's used to doing more the dance thing."
Minogue has also recruited producer Richard Stannard, who worked on Kylie's hits 'In Your Eyes', 'Love At First Sight' and 'Light Years'.
The star's most recent single, 2007's 'Touch Me Like That', peaked at number 48 in the UK chart. Her most successful release to date has been 2003's 'I Begin To Wonder', which reached number two.
