The new dates will be kicked off by a four-night stand at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre from July 30 to August 2. It has been 13 years since Phish last played at the venue.
The band's reunion tour, their first since 2004, began with three shows in March at Virgina's Hampton Coliseum. The demand for tickets for the original dates was so high that concert promoter Live Nation's website suffered crashes.
Tickets for the new dates go on sale on March 26, but requests are currently open on Phish's website.
Phish also plan to enter the studio with producer Steve Lillywhite in April to record their first new LP since 2004's Undermind, Rolling Stone reports.
The band reportedly have 20 demos ready to record. One of the album's new songs, 'Backwards Down The Number Line,' was premiered live at the first Hampton Coliseum show.
"I'm not convinced we've made a great record yet," frontman Trey Anastasio said.
