The former Ash guitarist revealed on her website that she would join the singer for her April 17 date at Shepherds Bush Empire and stay with the touring group for their European and American dates.
Hatherley said: "I'm happy as Larry because the music is so ACE and I not only get to play heavily chorused guitar a la The Cure, but get to play throbbingly fuzzed up bass, keyboards and twinkly bells."
She added that she is also working on the video for 'White', the first single from her upcoming album Cinnabar City.
Hatherley was a founding member of Nightnurse before joining Ash in 1997. She left the band in 2006 and has since released two solo albums and joined Client as a touring bassist.
