The group, made up of Patti LaBelle, Nona Hendryx and Sarah Dash, will release new LP Back To Now on April 20.
The trio, who rose to fame with 'Lady Marmalade' in 1974, have teamed up with Wyclef Jean, Lenny Kravitz and Gamble & Huff in a bid to reignite their career.
"We talked to Kenny Gamble about the idea of us getting together and invited him to a session. He showed up that day and we haven't stopped working since," Hendryx said.
"It's as if we never stopped. The thread just continues; we just slotted right back into the music when we went into the studio to record Back To Now and, with the input of a young team led by Wyclef and Lenny, we learned a lot and moved our sound right up to now."
Labelle, currently on a promotional tour of the US, will release single 'Rollout' on April 13.
