Ironik releases new single 'Tiny Dancer (Hold Me Closer)' on April 27 and the track features John alongside grime rapper Chipmunk, The Mirror reports.
John said: "Tupac and Kanye West are two artists I've let sample my records - that shows how much I rate Ironik. It's good to help talent I believe in."
The track is based around a sample from John's 1971 hit 'Tiny Dancer', which first appeared on the Madman Across the Water LP before its use in Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous in 2000.
