The Atlanta rapper's solo effort Sir Lucious Leftfoot: The Son Of Chico Dusty contains 16 tracks and has been scheduled for a summer release, Rolling Stone reports.
The songs 'Ringtone' and 'Royal Flush' from the upcoming album have already been released by Big Boi, who said that label Jive Records is to blame for the LP's many delays.
"You know what goes with Jive? Shuckin' and jivin'," he said.
Big Boi also confirmed that he was in the studio two weeks ago with Andre 3000 working on a new OutKast album. It will be the duo's first LP since 2006's Idlewild.
"We're cooking up tracks, all right. Never stop. That's an everyday thing," he said.
