Island Records denies Winehouse reports

An article in The Sun had suggested that the label had asked the singer to write some new songs for the follow-up to Black To Black.
It claimed that material Winehouse had penned in St Lucia was too dark in its lyrical content and too reggae influenced in its sound.
However, an Island spokesmen told London Lite: "It's absolutely not true."
