Neil Tennant has claimed that he is not bothered by Kylie Minogue's rejection of the track 'Pandemonium' that they wrote for her.

He told thelondonpaper that the Pet Shop Boys ended up using the song as a jumping-off point for their current album Yes.

Tennant said: "I'm not bothered that Kylie didn't record it, although I think she would have done it really well.

"In many ways it was the starting point for our album, because when we sat down to do it, we were like: 'Well, we've got 'Pandemonium'. Let's listen to that: great, one - tick.'"

Last week, Tennant and bandmate Chris Lowe confirmed that they would not write for Kylie again after she ignored their tracks.
