Liz McLarnon has revealed details of plans to relaunch her music career.
The former Atomic Kitten singer will release new single 'Lately' in the UK through Global One Music, a project which sees artists from around the world simultaneously record the track in their own language.
"When I first heard 'Lately' I instantly thought that it was a hit. It really does sound like an Atomic Kitten 'Whole Again'. Obviously that was a big hit all over the world," she said.
"There are so many huge artists from other countries in this, I thought I would do Britain proud to be the English vocalist in this project."
The star admitted that she has ambitious plans for the rest of the year following her win on BBC's Celebrity Masterchef in 2008.
"I've just got a new record deal in Britain, I have a fiction novel coming up. I have two TV shows in pre-production that I'm going to be presenting and lots of other things I can't even think!" she added.
McLarnon reached number five with her single 'Woman In Love' three years ago but later lost out to Scooch in her bid to represent the UK in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest
'Lately' is released on May 4.
