The 'Rehab' singer is said to have persuaded Ronson to get on board with the new record after admitting that she was struggling to come up with new material.
The pair fell out last year after plans to record the Quantum Of Solace Bond theme were shelved.
"Mark does not have fond memories of collaborating with Amy last year. He said he wouldn't work with her again until she had her drug problems under control," a source told The Sun.
"Mark's now happy to give Amy the help she requires. They gelled while recording Back To Black and he's hopeful some of that magic could return.
"He thinks she's much better now so has agreed to come on board and do a little work with her on some of her songs."
Winehouse's record label Island recently rubbished claims that they were unhappy with the direction of her new record.
