Members of Liverpudlian acts Cast, The Farm, Echo and The Bunnymen and James Walsh from Starsailor appear on a cover of Irish folk song 'Fields Of Athernry'.

Renamed 'Fields Of Anfield Road', the track also features vocals from former soccer stars Bruce Grobbelaar, Kenny Daglish, Phil Thompson and John Aldridge.

"A lot of people have volunteered to get involved," said The Farm's Phil Hooton. "It is a reworking of a Kop classic and I hope it raises awareness of the Hillsborough disaster and is a fitting tribute to the 96 and the survivors."

Th Hillsborough disaster occurred on April 15, 1989 at an FA Cup semi-final match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest.
