The country legend told BBC 6 Music that she could take to the stage at the event when it celebrates its 40th anniversary next year.
Parton said: "I would certainly consider it. We've got a lot of things going on. I couldn't promise that I'd do it but we'll certainly maybe one of these times get a chance to do it."
The singer also announced that she is interested in producing a movie of her life story, adding that 9 To 5: The Musical star Megan Hilty would be considered for the lead role.
