Blink-182 downplay Reading, Leeds rumour
Mark Hoppus has denied rumours that Blink-182 are booked for this year's Reading and Leeds festival.

The reformed pop-punk act are one of the acts reported to be on the summer event's bill.

However, Hoppus insisted that nothing was confirmed for the band to play the UK shows. "Blink-182 has not been confirmed for Reading/Leeds festivals," he wrote on Twitter.

"Doesn't mean it won't happen. Love those festivals. But we are not booked yet."

Blink-182 last played Reading and Leeds in 2003. The group announced that they were reforming and working on a new album at this year's Grammys.

Arctic Monkeys were confirmed as one of the Reading and Leeds headliners earlier today.
