The '90s rapper, real name Rob Van Winkle, topped the station's poll, which asked fans who they most wanted to "apologise" for musical crimes.
According to the Daily Star, the American's performance in Australia was "a surprise favourite" and he got "mobbed" by fans.
Winkle, who sold over 40 million records worldwide, also revealed afterwards that he is working on a single with MC Hammer and is planning to visit the UK soon.
MC Hammer and Winkle played a one-off show in Utah last month titled 'Hammer Pants And Ice'.
