David Hasselhoff is helping his teenage daughters launch pop careers, say tabloid reports.

The 56-year-old singer and actor has booked studio time and hired songwriters for Taylor Ann, 18, and Hayley Amber, 16, according to The Sun.

Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills, who appears with Hasselhoff in new Living TV show The Hoff: When Scott Came To Stay, said that the girls' music is similar to Disney star Miley Cyrus.

"He will be advising them, but he's looking for full-time management for them," said Mills. "He's sorted it all out and he's very hands-on.

"They're recording a song together. It's like Miley Cyrus-ish pop - it's teen pop."

Mills also claimed that the Baywatch star wants to name the girls The Hoff Drops and appear in their music videos.
