Babyshambles cancel headline appearance

Drummer Adam Ficek apologised to fans on his Twitter page and said that he was disappointed to be missing the gig, reports NME.
The indie rock band were scheduled to play at the Allez Les Jeunes Festival in Rouen today.
Ficek wrote: "Awoke. Feeling shattered. Get in cab. Get a message. Today's Babyshambles festival is off. Peter tired. I go back to bed. Gutted! Sorry."
The group are due to play at the Garorock 2009 festival in Marmande, France, tomorrow.
