Amy Winehouse has returned to St. Lucia to start recording her third album, it has emerged.

She is said to have flown to the Caribbean island from Gatwick and will begin studio sessions next week, The Sun reports.

Winehouse will go into the studio with Salaam Remi, who produced her debut album Frank and also worked on the follow-up Back To Black.

The 'Rehab' singer spent 71 days in St. Lucia at the start of the year but returned to England when her estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil was released from prison.
