Pete Yorn has reportedly been chosen to support Coldplay on the group's forthcoming US tour.
The singer-songwriter gained international recognition for the score of Me, Myself & Irene and will release his fourth studio album Back And Fourth in June.
Songs from his first LP release since 2006's Nightcrawler are expected to be highlighted on the road, reports Billboard.
The jaunt kicks off on May 15 in Florida and will take in 13 dates before concluding on June 4 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
