Doves celebrate with 'monumental piss up'

The trio shot straight to number two with their fourth LP Kingdoms Of Rust and promised a party "of Biblical proportions".
"This is the biggest compliment. We worked so frickin' hard on this album, it kind of puts your faith back in people's judgment," band member Jez Williams told the Daily Star.
The group went on to claim that the record industry had changed significantly since their last album was released.
"The record industry has imploded and the life expectancy of a new band barely goes beyond one album now. It’s a shame," Williams explained.
"I don't think we qualify as a 'comeback artist' yet, we still got an album out within five years. No way will we leave it that long again."
Doves recently confirmed a live set at Glastonbury this year, performing on the John Peel stage.
