The musician, who performs as The Streets, posted a free download link to new track 'I Love My Phone' exclusively on the social networking website.
Skinner wrote: "I am going to Tweet three new songs this week. I can't be bothered with all this trying to sell you music. It wastes valuable time.
"I'm gonna be in so much trouble. I think I regret saying I'd post three new songs. Gonna watch the Handel documentary off iPlayer then get ready to knock out a song a day tomoz."
He added: "Day One will be easy. I've got one nearly done. Day Two easy. Day Three is looking tricky. Might have to post a totally rubbish one."
"Right. Handel. Then Usual Suspects. Kevin Spacey inspiration. You won't hear from me till tomorrow eve and a song I will have."
The new track is an ode to the singer's mobile phone and includes the lyric: "Unlock the living, put the four-digit PIN in, in your hand you hold the whole world and his dad."
