Keane: 'We're quitting Britain'

The 'Spiralling' group claimed that they are more widely respected in America, where people are less focused on their upper class background.
"It's amazing how far and wide our music has reached with other artists, especially in America," singer Tom Charlton told the Daily Star.
"There's less stigma attached to us, like all of the things we have been lumbered with in Britain. Being posh etc etc - annoying things that have nothing to do with how we sound."
Despite updating their style on their most recent album Perfect Symmetry, the group admitted that they are eager to continue to develop musically.
"Some bands find their style and stick to it. Then there are others that progress, bands like Radiohead who always do something different and surprise you," Richard Hughes said.
"We are soaking up everything around us at the moment," Tom Rice-Oxley added.
