The Leicester rock act, who release their third studio album West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum on June 8, will play on the Saturday evening just before Springsteen.
Kasabian have already confirmed a UK tour and support slots for Oasis this summer.
The full Glastonbury bill will not be announced until a month before the festival. Springsteen, Blur, Neil Young, Doves, White Lies, Echo & The Bunnymen, Fleet Foxes, Lily Allen, Florence & The Machine and Emiliana Torrini are the only acts officially confirmed. All tickets for the five-day festival are now sold out.
Meanwhile, The Noisettes confirmed to DS last week that they would be playing the event at Worthy Farm in June.
"We've got V Festival, Glastonbury and T In The Park lined up," said singer Shingai Shoniwa.
