Published Tuesday, Apr 21 2009, 13:16 BST | By Alex Fletcher

The reformed Britpop band will play Southend Pavilion, Wolverhampton Civic Hall and Newcastle O2 Academy in June. Tickets will be sold to fans registered on Blur's official website on Wednesday, before going on general sale on Friday.
Last week, Damon Albarn's group sold out dates at London Goldsmiths College and Colchester's East Anglican Railway Museum.
The intimate shows precede the band's gigs at Manchester's MEN, London's Hyde Park, T In The Park, Oxygen and Glastonbury.
