Rex Features
ArtistsInResidence have previously made available limited deluxe editions of albums from Nine Inch Nails, Beck, Sigur Ros and The Rentals.
The label has announced what appears to be a new Pixies album entitled Minotaur, and revealed that the Steve Albini-produced record will be released on June 15.
Pixies released their last studio LP Trompe Le Monde in 1991 before splitting up in 1993.
The band reformed in 2004 for a number of live shows and released the download-only single 'Bam Thwok', penned by bassist and Breeders-founder Kim Deal.
Last year, frontman Frank Black said that he would not rule out a new album from the grunge pioneers.
Pixies play the Isle Of Wight festival on June 14, with the band taking to the stage before headliner Neil Young.
