The quartet, made up of former Van Halen members Sammy Hagar and Mike Anthony, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and guitarist Joe Satriani, embark on nine "road test" concerts in May, Rolling Stone reports.
"The public on-sales for the nine road-test shows sold out all tickets in record time. The band was blown away by your response and can't wait to take the show on the road," Chickenfoot said on their website.
The band's tour will reportedly be implementing strong anti-scalping measures because the tickets were scarce and in high demand. Each fan will be required to show ID along with their ticket for admission.
Chickenfoot have promised to return to the road in August or September at larger venues during a major North American tour. Their self-titled debut album is released on June 9.
