Simon Webbe: 'Blue never went away'

Simon Webbe has said that boyband Blue cannot reform because they never split up in the first place.

The singer made the comments at the Radox Shower Smoothies Awards at Shoreditch House last night.

Webbe told London Lite: "We've always had a deal. We're the only boyband that has never split up.

"All the other bands have made comebacks as they've split up and reformed, but we, as Blue, have always been signed."

He added: "We've been pursuing our own solo projects, but we've still got three more albums left on our contract. It's when, not if, and we're all still mates."
