The London-based three-piece, who recently scored a number two hit with 'Don't Stop The Rhythm', said that they have so much excess material from recent recording sessions that they had considered a stage show.
"We wrote so much stuff for the new album that we've probably got enough to make another two records," guitarist Dan Smith told the Daily Star.
"We've got these really grandiose ideas to write a whole musical - a pop disco musical in three parts. A bit like R Kelly's 'In The Closet' video, but not."
The Noisettes' new album Wild Young Hearts is expected to chart inside the Top 5 on Sunday.
