The 'Better Off As 2' star criticised singer Elly Jackson for claiming that she was more talented than other acts in the BBC Sound Of 2009 poll.
Asked his opinion of Jackson, Frankmusik told NME: "Do I like her music? Yes! Her as a person? Not so sure about.
"I wouldn't, for example, say about that BBC Sound Of 2009 Poll, 'I'm the only decent one on the shortlist' in front of someone else who was on that list. How la rude!"
The star, real name Vincent Frank, recently told DS that the BBC poll was "like reading something from i-D magazine".
Frankmusik releases debut album Complete Me on June 22.
