The tour, which begins on June 27 and takes in 50 cities, was planned with the assistance of the non-profit environmental organisation REVERB, Billboard reports.
Green efforts will include coordinating with local venues and caterers to ensure the use of green products and practices and neutralising CO2 emissions from venue energy use, hotels, flights and touring vehicles.
REVERB has calculated the tour's carbon footprint and will neutralise it by financially supporting construction of renewable energy projects such as wind farms.
The Evolver singer will also offer eco-friendly merchandise to fans and sponsor a ride-sharing scheme to encourage carpooling to the shows.
