Speaking about the Britpop band's preparations for the comeback dates, the guitarist insisted that the group will not be ashamed to play their biggest hits.
"We'll play for about two hours and do all the old favourites like 'Country House' and 'Parklife'," he told The Sun.
"We're pretty much there now. If we needed to go on stage tomorrow we could - the show would be a mess but I quite like it like that. We all know the words now - we just need to learn to play the songs a bit better."
Coxon also revealed that he had told the band "specifically" that they should play tracks from their last studio album Think Tank, despite him only originally appearing on one of the LP's songs.
Blur will play outdoor shows at Hyde Park, Glastonbury, T In The Park and Oxegen in June and July. They have also scheduled intimate gigs in Colchester, Wolverhampton, Southend, Newcastle and Goldsmiths College.
