Carl Barat has played Libertines songs with a member of Babyshambles, the group fronted by his former bandmate Pete Doherty.

The musician performed 'Time For Heroes' and 'What A Waster' alongside bassist Drew McConnell and Dirty Pretty Things guitarist Anthony Rossomando, NME reports.

Barat then watched McConnell, Reverend And The Makers' Jon McClure and former La's songwriter Lee Mavers play 'Son Of A Gun' and 'Feelin''.

Mavers had recently performed on Pete Doherty's solo tour and Babyshambles drummer Adam Ficek has suggested that the band will collaborate with the Liverpudlian singer on new material.
