Pink 'regrets circus theme for tour'

Pink has said that she would not have chosen a circus theme for her upcoming tour had she known that her pop rivals had similar plans.

The singer takes her Funhouse LP on the road this summer, and its theme has drawn comparisons to Britney Spears's current Circus tour.

Pink told The AP: "Had I known that certain other people were going to base their latest thing about circus things, I probably would have went into another direction.

"I was six months before that and didn't really understand that it was a trend that was happening. I'm pretty out of the loop."

The 'So What', star who is a member of animal rights organisation PETA, was reported to have said that she would speak out against Spears if plans of her using live elephants in her stage show were true.
