Bassist Nicky Wire and frontman James Dean Bradfield will man the decks every Sunday between 9 and 10pm in May and have promised to play a mix of old and new tracks on the show.
Bradfield told the station they would play "lots of stuff that doesn't get played on the radio anymore", including The Skids, Magazine and Minutemen alongside songs from The Horrors.
"We don't get a chance to do mixtape parties because we're too old and we don't do compilations on our laptops, so it's a good chance to do our own disco," he added.
Wire said: "It's nice to show where our inspiration comes from, because sometimes they do it better than we can."
Manic Street Preachers release their ninth studio album Journal For Plague Lovers on May 18 with lyrics penned by missing guitarist Richey James Edwards.
