Hilton 'writing songs' for new album

The socialite, who released her debut Paris in 2006, told followers on Twitter that she was penning material for a follow-up.
Despite selling just 600,000 copies of her first record, Hilton has remained defiant that she will secure a successful recording career.
Hilton last year claimed that her new album was influenced by Kylie Minogue and later sought the help of super-producer Mark Ronson in a bid to rework a number of tracks.
The new LP will allegedly also include a song detailing the star's 23-day jail sentence two years ago.
Hilton has yet to confirm a title or release date for the record.
