Among the more than 100 performers now confirmed are Ben Harper and Relentless7, Rise Against and Snoop Dogg.
Despite the current economic climate, attendance for the festival is looking promising, according to founder and Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell.
"At Lollapalooza, we're selling more tickets than ever. People need an even bigger excuse to escape more than ever and there is no better escape than going to a festival and just tripping and taking in music," he said.
The festival will take place at Chicago’s Grant Park from August 7 to 9.
