No Doubt prepare for reunion tour

The band, who have reunited for the first time in nearly five years, will use the time spent on tour to jump start their creative process for a new 2010 album, MTV News reports.
Gwen Stefani said that their studio sessions prior to the decision to hit the road were more about reconnecting than music being made.
"We got a lot of hang-out time and we talked and had so much fun together, but we didn't actually make too much music," she said.
However, bassist Tony Kanal revealed that once the dates for the tour began to emerge, the quartet found their creative stride.
"We were in the studio, trying to write [songs for the new No Doubt record]. Things weren't coming," he said. "Gwen was feeling like she couldn't find the place where she wanted to start the writing process.
"I think she always goes through this and I think we, uh, we just need to find ourselves. We just need to get out on the road."
The lead singer has dubbed their upcoming shows with Paramore "the procrastination tour" and placed the blame for the delay solely on herself.
"OK, I'm gonna go on tour with my last record, I'm gonna come home, I'm gonna get pregnant, I'm gonna have a baby, but while I'm pregnant, I'm gonna make the No Doubt record," she said.
"That was, like, the plan, but it all didn't work."
