Coldplay are to give every fan who attends a show on their North American tour a free live album.

Starting at the band's May 15 gig in West Palm Beach, Florida, each concert-goer will receive a live LP titled LeftRightLeftRightLeft, Rolling Stone reports.

People not able to get tickets to one of the concerts will be able to download a digital version of the album for free on Coldplay's official website from May 15.

The nine song set includes: 'Glass Of Water', '42', 'Clocks', 'Strawberry Swing', 'The Hardest Part/Postcards From Far Away', 'Viva La Vida', 'Death Will Never Conquer', 'Fix You' and 'Death And All His Friends'.

"Playing live is what we love. This album is a thank you to our fans - the people who give us a reason to do it and make it happen," Coldplay said in statement.
