Springsteen honours Pete Seeger

The proceeds from the show benefited the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, an organisation set up by Seeger to preserve and protect the Hudson River, Billboard reports.
"He's gonna look a lot like your grandad that wears flannel shirts and funny hats. He's gonna look like your grandad if your grandad can kick your ass," Springsteen said as he introduced the longtime musician, who played the concert's first song.
"At 90, he remains a stealth dagger through the heart of our country's illusions about itself," Springsteen added.
Dave Matthews, Joan Baez, John Mellencamp, Tom Morello and Arlo Guthrie were also among the night's performers.
