The former Neighbours actress, who currently resides in Los Angeles, spent the weekend in a recording studio with electropop star Frankmusik.
Appearing in a video on Kyte, the pair announced: "We're here making some music and you'll be hearing it very soon."
Valance topped the charts with her cover of Tarkan's 'Kiss Kiss' in 2002. Her album Footprints spawned further singles 'Down Boy' and 'Naughty Girl', and was later certified gold.
Despite early success, her follow-up LP State Of Mind stalled at a disappointing number 60 in the UK album charts.
