Mike Skinner, aka The Streets, has uploaded a video to a new song about the spread of swine flu.

The rapper told fans reading his Twitter page that he would be releasing the track online without the blessing of his record label 679 Recordings.

Skinner said: "I'm posting a new song on YouTube later. Mexican swine flu horns sounding buff. Posting tune with video in next few hours. this is some Live Aid way of working.

"Can I just state that nothing I do right now has anything to do with the label. They would not condone what I am doing You are all breaking the law by even talking to me. The police may rammup your door at 5am."

The 'He's Behind You, He's Got Swine Flu' video features a montage of scenes from horror movies while its lyrics begin: "He's behind you, he's got swine flu, Make a sacrifice for society's sake, Decapitate your mate."

Skinner recently used his Twitter page to post audio links to unreleased new songs.
