The album will be re-released in special, limited and collector's editions on August 11 to mark its 20th anniversary.
Included on the single-CD Special Edition is The Stone Roses remastered by singer Ian Brown and original producer John Leckie, together with the full 9.53 version of crossover single 'Fools Gold'.
The Legacy Edition is packaged with a bonus disc of demos, including previously unreleased song 'Pearl Bastard', and a DVD of the band's Live in Blackpool concert from 1989.
A 3CD, 3LP, 1DVD and 2GB lemon-shaped USB Collector's Edition includes the album, B-sides and rarities, demos, backwards tracks, a 48-page bound book and set of six 12" John Squire prints.
Brown and guitarist John Squire have both rejected claims that the band will reform this summer to mark the 20th year since their debut release.
