The singer has visited more than 20 European cities in a bid to drum up support for 'It's My Time' before Saturday's final.
"I haven't had a negative reaction from anywhere. I've been almost overwhelmed by it," she told DS.
"Wherever we've gone, everyone seems to know everything about the song and they're really enthusiastic."
Ewen also insisted that her promotional tour has helped to dispel notions that the UK fails to take Eurovision seriously.
"Everyone keeps saying, 'We don't understand why you haven't done this before, but we're glad you've come to our country'. They feel quite honoured that we've taken time out to come to them to perform," she said.
Ewen will perform 'It's My Time' alongside Andrew Lloyd Webber at the Eurovision Song Contest, airing Saturday at 8pm on BBC One.
