Depeche Mode cancel more concerts

Depeche Mode have been forced to cancel a rescheduled show in Athens because of the continued illness of frontman Dave Gahan.

The band scrapped Tuesday night's show in the Greek capital due to Gahan's suspected gastroenteritis.

A statement from Didi Music read: "Everyone hoped for the singer's speedy recovery and the rescheduling of the band's show for today.

"According to the information received by the band's management and the doctor on duty, the artist's health condition does not allow it."

The band have also said that they will not be able to play tonight's planned show in Istanbul, Turkey.

Fans have been advised to retain their tickets and wait for news of rescheduling or cancellation.

Depeche Mode are currently touring the world in support of their 12th studio album Sounds Of The Universe.
