The 16-year-old songwriter told The Times that opening track 'WWIII' from The Jonas Brothers' upcoming album Lines, Vines And Trying Times was about a previous girlfriend - believed to be Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus.
Jonas said: "I wrote it out of personal experience. It was about this relationship. This person kept on fighting, and making out like it was World War III when it was really a one-sided battle.
"It was just them coming at you, and you don't really have any problem."
After the couple broke-up, Cyrus, who is also 16, said that she dyed her hair black as a form of rebellion against her former partner.
Cyrus later revealed that her own single '7 Things' was written about Jonas.
