According to The Sun, the pop singer has been diagnosed with skin cancer. The tabloid claimed today that he is ready to undergo surgery on his chest and nose.
However, the promoters of Jackson's 50 'This Is It' gigs at London's O2 have rubbished the reports.
"As usual, Michael Jackson is a magnet for preposterous and unverifiable stories in the media," said Phillips.
"He is in great health, working tirelessly on creating the greatest live performance of his career, and does not have skin cancer or elephants in his show."
Yesterday, Jackson postponed the opening four nights of his tour, rescheduling some dates for March 2010. The 'Thriller' star has insisted that the delay is due to the "size and scope" of the show rather than his health.
