'One Day Like This' was picked as the best song of the year, musically and lyrically, while its predecessor 'Grounds For Divorce' was named best contemporary song.
Frontman Guy Garvey said: "This is really something else. I'm gonna talk about being in the band for a moment.
"We've got this great support surrounding us from our friends and family but, on a personal note, I'd like to say that, if nothing else ever happens to me in my life, these four boys have made the whole thing worth every single second."
Other winners at this year's awards included The Ting Tings, who won the album award, and former Orange Juice frontman Edwyn Collins for the special Ivors Inspiration Award.
Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood won the award for best original film score for his soundtrack to There Will Be Blood.
