The former UB40 frontman has said what is and is not "cool" to put up on the site via a slideshow video for his cover of Britney Spears's Circus album-track 'Out From Under'.
The text reads: "It's often difficult for fans and YouTubers to fathom what is allowed on YouTube as regards copyright material and, just as importantly, what's not.
"To help, here are some official Fan Guidelines from Jacaranda Music, Ali Campbell and Web Sheriff as to what you can post on YouTube from Ali's new album Flying High."
Fans are told that it is "cool" to post clips or audio of 'Out From Under' and 'My Heart Is Gone', as well as concert or live footage of new tracks, as long as a copyright credit and link to the official Ali Campbell YouTube page are included.
However, listeners are informed that it is "uncool to/please don't" post any other studio material from the new album or any unofficial mixes or mash-ups.
The video then states: "Big Respect for following these Fan Guidelines."
