The production duo, made up of Russell Small and James Wiltshire, claimed that Burke has the perfect qualities to suit their style.
"We like someone with a soulful voice and Alexandra Burke stands out as being a really exciting and fresh new talent," Wiltshire told DS.
"She ticked all the rights boxes after we saw her performing with Beyoncé on The X Factor".
The Freemasons are currently promoting their new single 'Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer)' and said that the song has enjoyed an overwhelmingly positive response.
"We've been playing it in the clubs and it's been going down really well. We had it twice in our set last weekend - the first time we've done that - and each time it went down better and better," Wiltshire added.
"It's getting plenty of airplay and we'd love it to be our best single to date. We're keeping our fingers crossed but you just can't tell these days."
'Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer)' is released on June 21.
