Writing on her official website, the Wizards Of Waverly Place star explained that she had "taken my time to find my sound" and would embark on an "intense boot camp" in music over the coming weeks.
"If you like what the end product sounds like, great, see you at my shows and I hope you have a blast listening to my album. If you don’t, well, I can’t please everyone, no one can!" she said.
The 16-year-old went on to say that she was "going through change, growth and failure just like everyone else except mine is open for public scrutiny" and would be filming a web series called Under Pressure about the making of her LP.
"I am filming my journey through this so you can see how hard I am working to do my best," she explained. "I will struggle at some things and you will see that. I will succeed at things and you will see that.
"I have worked hard and I am about to work even harder. Anybody who tries to bring me down only inspires me."
