Agnes hit inspired by bad boyfriend
Published Wednesday, Jun 3 2009, 07:18 BST | By Nick Levine

The dance track, which debuted at number three on the UK singles chart on Sunday, features the lyrics: "Release me, release my body, I know it's wrong, so why am I with you now?"
"The lyrics are about me and a boyfriend I had about a year-and-a-half ago," Agnes told DS. "He wasn't that good a boyfriend. Actually, I'm happy to say this, he was a bad guy.
"The song is an uptempo party song and I really like the contrast between the lyrics and the song."
When asked whether her ex knows that the song is about him, Agnes replied: "I don't know because I don't talk to him now...and that's great!"
